Up to date settling behavior of microplastics is poorly investigated. The present laboratory experiments can provide valuable information about microplastics sinking, e.g. settling velocity measurements. Our laboratory has available glass tank of 110 cm height with LED lighting, where the sinking experiments are implemented. Measurements of terminal settling velocity were conducted in this glass\u00a0using the microplastic particles of different shapes and sizes.<\/p>\n
