Natalya Stepanova, the head of the organizing committee, presented her research on the cold intermediate layer in the Baltic Sea in 2006. Artem Mizyuk made an oral presentation about numerical modelling of currents along the Crimean peninsula, while Andrei Bagaev and Irina Poterukhina made poster presentations on light microplastics transport in the south-eastern Baltic and discharge waters from the Vistula lagoon into the Baltic Sea under drift currents, respectively.
