Irina Chubarenko and Natalya Stepanova were present at the 11th Baltic Sea Science Congress \u201cLiving along gradients: past, present, future\u201d in June 2017 in Rostock, Germany. Irina Chubarenko, head of the laboratory for marine physics and the MARBLE team, was the session chair for Session 4: Castal Seas and Society. Her oral presentation was entitled <\/span>Microplastics: pollutant with unknown transport properties<\/i><\/span> (Chubarenko, I., Poterukhina, I., Bagaeva, M., Khatmullina, L., Isachenko, I., Nizhnikovskaya, O.). The poster works on the cold intermediate layer, the experimental sampling equipment, and the microplastics in bottom sediments were also presented.<\/span><\/p>\n
