water exchange, upwelling, cascading,

mixing near the temperature of maximum density;

 

marine environment:

environmental monitoring;eutrophication;

spatial and temporal variations of chlorophyll “a” concentration,

sea surface temperature, suspended matter, and marine ice;

climate change and ecosystem regime shifts;

validation of satellite data.
