The IAPSO-IAMAS-IAGA Joint Assembly was held on August 27-September 1 2017 in Cape Town, South Africa. The MARBLE team was presented by Adrei Bagaev, Irina Efimova and Margarita Bagaeva. who gave oral and poster presentations on the MPs mechanical degradation, sampling, numerical modelling, cold intermediate layer, etc. The work done attracted attention of colleagues in the field of MP studies and other areas of Earth sciences.
